Matthew McConaughey covered baby Levi yesterday as he left the hospital with his new son around 2:45 pm PT. Camila Alves left in a wheelchair, per usual hospital protocol. At the beginning of the clip, you can see the windows of the SUV being covered in black cloth as the baby is put in the car.

June 28th, 2008: Peace has returned to Point Dume. Saturday afternoon surfers showed up with flowers and there seemed to be a reconciliation despite the police officers siding a bit in favor of the beach goers. They continued to limit access to the paps in order to "keep the peace" when there didn't seem to be any signs of a threat. But at least everyone remained calm.

X17 Xclusive - June 24th, 2008: Matthew McConaughey and Camilla were out in Santa Monica and the paps tried to get his opinion of the recent fights waged by the surfers against the paps. In spite of his outdoorsy, laid-back hippie-sheik, we were surprised that he didn't lend so much as a word in honor of peace and love - especially considering he had been a catalyst in the circumstance!

June 25, 2008: Our photogs earnestly questioned Matthew McConaughey about the week's events in Malibu when they caught up with him in front of Tengu in Santa Monica, Wednesday afternoon.

April 23rd, 2008: X17 visited Malibu today to get the word on the street from locals regarding the recent attack on photographers at the beach. You might find what they had to say surprising - plenty of surfers we spoke to were in favor of the paps in this situation. Consensus is that the beach is public for us all to share.

Sunday, June 22nd: After having a skirmish yesterday with some surfers in Malibu, the paparazzi try again to capture the ever elusive Mcconaughey. But the surfers are not having it, and aggressively attack the paparazzi with an all out assault. The photographers have no choice but to retreat and they call the police to report the attack.

Saturday June 21st: A nice sunny day at Malibu beach turned violently wrong for some unlucky paps shooting Matthew McConaughey. A group of surfers approached the photogs and seriously out numbered them. One of the surfers wants to fight for the beach, and then one pap tries to flee the scene only to be caught and thrown into the water. Matthew McConaughey was not involved in the altercation.

Thursday June 19th: Camilla Alves and Matthew McConaughey haven’t had their baby yet. The two were spotted going in separately into a hospital in Malibu. Later they headed to the grocery store; guess Camilla is still having cravings.
