July 28th, 2008: Apparently, Chanel is under construction and their front door was temporarily closed for the remodeling. This was enough for Phoebe to take credit for their demise. "Apparently I had an effect," she declares. Even stranger, she almost stumbles and mentions that its a good thing she doesn't drink. What?! So these "press conferences" outside Chanel are the product of a sober mind??? Yikes, for Phoebe's sake I had hoped it was an impromptu decision following a five martini lunch. Now I'm really worried.
