Youre making this much more difficult than it has to be.If you start out from 2 separate origins there should be 2 separate bookings, doesnt make sense to book together. You could do it yourself by:1) Searching on one single airline tickets from the 2 origins to the Mexico city.2) Should you two end up on the same connecting airport, good. If not, one of you should consider searching for a flight from home city to the connecting airport through a different airline.3) Should it become too expensive to fly 2 separate airlines just to end up flying together on the same connecting flight, consider arriving at the Mexico City separately as you 2 would be meeting eventually, only a few hours later.
